For Spire, recognition from a publication of Gramophone’s stature is a significant honor and an exciting reflection of the work that Founder and Artistic Director Ben A. Spalding, Spire’s musicians and its supporters have built in Kansas City since 2010. Spire brings together accomplished vocalists and instrumentalists from Kansas City and around the country with a mission to perform choral music at the highest artistic level.
